Michael N. Kapsouris, 49

COLUMBUS… Michael N. Kapsouris age 49, passed away on Wednesday October 14, 2026 at the Franklin Medical Center. He was born January 29, 1977 in Youngstown, Ohio and was a son of Michael and Stephanie (Risher) Kapsouris.

Michael resided in Campbell, Ohio for most of his life and had been employed by several Concessions businesses over the years.

He was a parishioner of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.

Michael enjoyed barbecuing, playing BINGO, wrestling, listening to music especially Tupac, and cars. Above all he loved his family and had a very special bond with his uncle Hector whom meant the world to him.

Michael is survived by his mother Stephanie Kapsouris of Youngstown, his siblings Nicol Danus of Sharon, Pennsylvania; Nicholas Kapsouris of Fort Myers, Florida; Kimberly Castellanos of Truman, Minnesota and Tiffany Spiker of Poland, Ohio. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved, especially Amanda Danus and Arianna Phillips with whom he shared a close bond.

He was preceded in death by his father.

The Kapsouris family has entrusted Michael’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. Calling hours will be held on Thursday October 22, 2026 from 10-11am at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church. Funeral services will follow at 11am in the church with Rev. Steve Denas, officiating.

Michael will be laid to rest at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Cemetery in Campbell.
