Michele Smrek Nicholas, 64

Youngstown…Michele Smrek Nicholas, 64, went to be with the Lord, Thursday evening December 21, 2017, at Cleveland Clinic Hospital.

Michele was born April 22, 1953 to Robert C. Smrek and Margaret (Homulos) Smrek. She was a1971 graduate of Campbell Memorial.

Michele had a deep love for the Lord. She was a courageous, strong person who fought a hardfight for numerous years. She always longed to be a mother.

She always put others before herself and was an amazing human being. She was an exceptional mother and a friend to both her children and grandchildren.

Michele will be especially remembered for her ability to love unconditionally. Her family was her everything! Her two daughters were her entire world. She was a wonderful, loving, caring wife,mother, aunt, sister, and grandmother. Michele had the biggest heart. She loved her familymore than life itself.

Michele is survived by her husband of 43 years, Stanley Nicholas; her daughters, Jennifer Miller and Dawn (Michael) Essad; her "3 babies", grandchildren, Caleigh Miller and Anthony &Anissa Essad. She also leaves behind her niece and god daughter  Kayla, and niece Melinda; as well as her sister, Loretta Smrek and her brother Robert "Bobby" whom both were her lifelong best friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; as well as many aunts and uncles; and her "baby" ZoZo, her Shitzu, and Dudey, her black lab.
