Miguel Angel Contreras Camacho, 81

YOUNGSTOWN…Miguel Angel Contreras Camacho, 81 passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026 at his home.

Miguel was born May 4, 1944 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, a son of Pedro and Dolores Contreras.

Since 1992 he has a lived in the Youngstown area, previously living in Rhode Island where he worked as a fisherman for Northeast Atlantic Seafood.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Miguel will be deeply missed and always remembered by his children, Diana Contreras, Catherine Contreras-Gannon and her wife Amy, Miguel Angel Contreras Jr. and Carmen Iris Contreras; six grandchildren and many great- grandchildren; brothers, Carlos and Carmelo Contreras.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Carmen Vasquez.

The Contreras family has entrusted Miguel's care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio. There will be no services at this time.
