Nilda Y. Ortiz, 57

Campbell……Memorial services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home, with Pastor Matt Ferguson officiating, for Nilda Y. Ortiz, 57 of Campbell, who passed away Saturday, Dec. 9th at her home.

Nilda was born Nov. 26, 1960, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, the daughter of Oderto Matias and Nilsa McCabe.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Rocky; children, Dennis (Sandra) Cortes of New York and Anthony Matias of Campbell; three grandchildren, Josiah, Jeremiah and Christian; sisters, Gitty, Jenise, Gysel, Gianna and Odergys Matias and Maria Zorrilla all of New York; and a niece, Judany Zorrilla also of New York.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her Aunt Lucia G. Calderon.

The Ortiz family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Saturday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the 1:30 p.m. funeral service.
