Pauline (Livosky) Truhan, 89

Poland…Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, with Rev. Andrew Nelko officiating, for Pauline (Livosky) Truhan, 89, who passed away Tuesday evening.

Pauline was born April 24, 1928, in Campbell, the daughter of John and Anna (Cejkovsky) Livosky.  She was a 1946 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and was a lifelong area resident.

Pauline worked as an office manager in the Admissions Office of Youngstown State University, having served in that role from 1964-1989.

She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.

Pauline's husband, John Jay Truhan, whom she married June 4, 1949; passed away February 1, 2004.

Pauline will be deeply missed by her sons, John J. (Deborah) Truhan of Peoria, Ill., Paul (Kathy) Truhan of Fairview Park, and Greg (Lydia) Truhan of Strongsville; her grandchildren, Valerie, Mathew, Elizabeth and Rebekah Truhan, Brian (Katie) and Craig Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents; and her husband, John; she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Kennedy, Anna Graban, Suzanne Marinelli, and Helen Livosky; and her brothers, Michael, William and John Livosky.

The Truhan family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Wednesday from 10-11:00 a.m. at the church, prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral service.
