Rita A. Parker, 66 Struthers……Private family services were held Saturday at the Wasko Funeral Home with Fr. Michael Swierz officiating for Rita A. Parker, 66, who passed away Wednesday evening in St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center. Rita was born Sept. 18, 1947 in Youngstown, the daughter of Vincent J. and Coletta A. Wittway Pescione. She attended St. Edwards Elementary School and then graduated from Ursuline High School in 1965. She worked as a retail clerk for McKelveys Dept. Store in downtown Youngstown and at Atlantic Mill in Liberty for many years. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Coletta A. Pescione of Struthers; a daughter, Shannon Parker of Greenville, S.C.; a son, Brian M. Parker of Austintown; and a brother, Vincent J. Pescione, of San Diego, Calf. She was preceded in death by her father; and a sister, Karen Pescione. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Ravinder Nath, Dr. Charles Wilkins and the staff of Caprice Health Care Center for the excellent care they provided to Rita.
