Obituary

Theresa A. Sebest

CAMPBELL… Theresa A. Sebest, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday evening June 5, 2026 with her family by her side.

Theresa was born October 16, 1936, to Paul and Ann Shulko Bosela and was a lifelong area resident.

Theresa worked as a warehouse distributor for over twenty years.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Provider church in Campbell until its closing, where she was very active as a festival worker and a pierogi pincher.  She is currently a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.

She was a 1954 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.

Theresa married Donald J. Sebest on October 17, 1959 and he passed away on December 20, 1978.

Theresa loved traveling with her sister and enjoyed family vacations at the beach every year.  She was an excellent cook and an avid baker. Hosting holiday gatherings and baking kolachi, kiffles and traditional baked goods such as Easter bread brought her much joy.

Theresa will be dearly missed by her sons Donald M. Sebest and Jeffrey A. (Mary) Sebest; her grandsons John and Joseph Sebest; her sister Mary Malys; her sister-in-law Carole (Richard) Pizzuti; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband Donald, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Paul, Michael, and John Bosela and George Botko.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Dr. Santuccio Ricciardi, a dear family friend and personal physician for many decades of excellent care. They also would like to thank Sanctuary Hospice for their compassionate care.

The Sebest family has entrusted Theresa's final care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio where calling hours will be held Wednesday June 10, 2026 from 5-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday June 11, 2026 at 10:30am at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard, Ohio, celebrated by the Rev. Michael Balash. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church on Thursday for Mass.

Theresa will be laid to rest next to her husband in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville, Ohio.
