Angela E. McAllister, 74

LEETONIA…Angela E. McAllister,74 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at her home.

Angela was born November 6, 1950 in New Castle, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth (Copple) Quear.

She was a lifelong resident of the Youngstown area.

Angela was of the Catholic Faith.

Angela married her husband John Uhrain in 1980 and they were married until his passing in 2012.

Together with her husband John, they owned and operated Uhrain’s Green House.

Angela loved dancing and playing poker and she especially loved family gatherings.

Angela will be deeply missed and always remembered by her daughters, Elizabeth Stanton of Boardman, Lynn (Richard) Wyatt of Columbiana, Roberta Saltsman of Boardman and Barb (Greg) Hubert of Struthers; her son, William McAllister of Leetonia; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nancy Haybarger and Mary Nestasie; her brother, Thomas Quear; and many nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband John; a sister, Jessie Quear and 2 brothers, Alex and Joseph Quear.

The McAllister family has entrusted Angela’s care to the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home in Boardman where calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10 am-12 noon followed by a funeral service at 12 noon.
