Cheryl A. Schmidt, 71

Campbell… Cheryl A. Schmidt, 71, passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 23, 2024 in her home.

Cheryl was born August 1, 1953 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Michael and Helen (Hrehovcik) Seman.

She was a 1971 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.

Besides being a homemaker, she worked for many years as a cashier at the IGA Grocery Store in Warren.

During her son’s high school and college years, Cheryl never missed one of his basketball or baseball games. She was so proud of him.

Cheryl cherished the time she spent with her family, as well as the time she spent with all of her many dogs throughout the years. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed cheering on her favorite teams, including the OSU Buckeyes, the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians.

Cheryl will be deeply missed and always remembered by her son Billy (Heather) Schmidt of Austintown: 3 grandsons, Joey, Mason and Bryce all of Austintown; her brother, Mark (Helen) Seman of Hubbard; and her loving companion, Karl Kronheim, with whom she made her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Brady.

The Schmidt Family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. No services will be held.
