Christa D. Flesher, 53

LOUISVILLE…Christa D. Flesher, 53 passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in Canton, Ohio,surrounded by her family and friends.

Christa was born January 16, 1972 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Thomas DePoy and Helena ( Mumaw) DePoy.

She was a 1990 graduate of Ursuline High School and went on to earn her associate’s degree in accounting from ITT Technical Institute.

Christa married the love of her life, Michael Flesher on October 28, 2007.

 She made her home in Louisville, Ohio for the past 20 years, where she worked as an accountant for BJAAM Environmental.

Christa is of the Catholic Faith.

Christa enjoyed life. She never missed a Canfield fair, caring for her family, going to concerts, car shows, and spending time with her niece and nephew, family and friends.

Christa will be deeply missed and always remembered by her husband, Michael; her brother Tom DePoy; her sister-in-law, Anjanette; her nephew Thomas Jr. and her niece Grayce.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents and her fur babies.

 Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 from 4-7pm at the Kubina-Yuhasz-Wasko Funeral Home in Boardman, Ohio, and again on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 from 10-10:45am followed by a funeral service at 11am officiated by Pastor Josh Garber.

Christa will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to Hospice of the Valley.
