Christa Gail Write Fletcher, 35
Campbell….Memorial services will be held at 4:00pm, Saturday, May 4th at the Wasko Funeral Home, with Bishop David Thomas of Victory Christian Center, officiating for, Christa Gail Write Fletcher, 35, of Campbell, who passed away Thursday, April 18th in the Cleveland Clinic.
Christa was born, March 9, 1984 in Warren, the daughter of Sanklen Write and Tenna Johnson Fletcher; and was adopted at the age of six by her father, Kenneth Fletcher.
She was a 2002 graduate of Youngstown Christian School where she played basketball and volleyball and was a member of the Praise and Worship team ; and a 2010 graduate of the National College, with an Associate Degree in Health Technology and Medical Billing and Coding. Christa was a Home Health Independent Provider for the last five years.
Christa loved to cook, play piano and listen to music, and was a Philadelphia Eagles Fan. She cherished the time she spent with her children and loved ones, and loved spending time with her grandmother, Gail Johnson.
She also volunteered for Challenger Baseball Organization and the Special Olympics, and was an APA member at Teenies Tavern Pool League.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Tenna Fletcher of Campbell; her father, Sanklen Write of Youngstown; her children, Samuel McGaha of Struthers and Olivia Lynn Pippin at home; fiancé, Michael Strozier; grandmother, Gail Johnson; sisters and brothers, Jenna Fletcher, Tonya Fletcher, Sharmayne Ware Fletcher, Kim Fletcher Capaldo, Pamela West, Kenneth Fletcher Jr. and Richard Fletcher; and her former husband, Samuel McGaha.
She was preceded in death by her dad, Kenneth Fletcher; grandfather, Emery Johnson; her best friend, Kristen Smith; her daughter Olivia’s father, Delmas “Abe” Pippin; two uncles, Terry and Jerry Write; and her grandmother Willie Mae Write
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
The Fletcher family has entrusted the care of Christa to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell and will receive family and friends on Saturday, May 4th from 2 to 4:00pm.
