GIUSEPPINA N. “LINA” RICCIARDI, 86

AUSTINTOWN… Giuseppina N. “Lina” Ricciardi, age 86 passed away suddenly on Thursday April 9, 2026 at her residence. Lina was born December 24, 1939 in Toro, Italy and was a daughter of Nicola and Michalina (Trumba) Ricella.

She immigrated from Italy and settled in Campbell on April 19, 1963.

She had worked in her younger years at the Dutch house in Downtown Youngstown and at Weatherbees. She also worked many years in catering at her church.

Lina was a member of Christ the Good Shephard Church in Campbell. She was active in the Altar and Rosary Society and the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild and assisted in running the kitchen for many parish festivals over the years at her church the former St. Lucy Catholic Church in Campbell.

She enjoyed cooking for her family and would make what ever they wanted, especially Italian dishes. She took great pride in caring for her family. In her younger years she enjoyed Crocheting and Knitting.

Her husband Nicolino Ricciardi, whom she married April 21, 1958; passed away on March 5, 2023.

Lina is survived by her daughter Antoinette Sferra of Austintown, her sons Michael (Sheri) Ricciardi of Cleveland and Nick Ricciardi of Austintown. She also leaves her five grandchildren Rick Sferra, Julie (Ralph) Braun, Alaina, Adriana and Gianna Ricciardi; her two great-grandchildren Elsie Williams and Alexander Braun; as well as her brother Antonio Ricella of Italy and two nieces and many cousins whom she loved.

Lina was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

The Ricciardi family has entrusted Lina’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, where family and friends may call on Saturday April 18, 2026 from 9am -10:30am. A prayer service will be held in the funeral home at 10:30 and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am at Christ the Good Shephard Church in Campbell with the Rev. Thomas Kraszewski, officiating.

Entombment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
