Ina Zbell, 99

Campbell… Ina Zbell, 99 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at Omni Manor Nursing Home.

Ina was born in Nantwich Crewe, England on June 7, 1925, a daughter of Frank and Miriam (Allen) Coxey. She came to America on June 7, 1947.

She married the love of her life, George Zbell on June 8, 1947 and they were married until his passing on September 7, 2002.

Ina was a member of The First Baptist Church of Campbell.

She worked at the service desk at Hills Department Store in the Lincoln Knolls Plaza.

Ina loved cooking and baking, especially cookies, cakes and kolachi, but her specialty was English Triffle. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her short vacation trips with her grandchildren, especially to Niagara Falls.

Ina will deeply be missed and always remembered by her daughter, Pauline (Jerry) Shirilla of Hubbard; her grandchildren, Jennifer Shirilla of Mansfield, Ohio, Jeffrey Shirilla of Campbell and Kevin Lyons of Columbus; her great-grandchildren, Graham, Georgia and Josie and her sister, Mona Dixon of Crewe, England.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Christine Knight and her sister, Eugenie Sproson.

The Zbell Family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. Private services were held on Friday, November 8, 2024 officiated by The Very Reverend Father Kevin Marks.
