John P. Fair, 64

AUSTINTOWN…John P. Fair, 64 passed away, surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 27, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.

John was born August 30, 1960 in Warren, Ohio, a son of Paul E. Fair and Doris D. Dufford.

He was a 1978 Woodrow Wilson High School graduate. He married the love of his life, the former Betty Jo Guillard on November 21, 1981.

John worked as a truck driver for Austintown Dairy and Valley Foods. In his younger years he worked at Astro Shapes.

He was a member of Austintown Baptist Church.

John was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. He enjoyed mowing the grass and doing yard work. He collected wind chimes. John loved his dog, Marbles and he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He will be deeply missed and always remembered by his wife, Betty Jo; his children, Travis (Jessica) Fair of Ellsworth, Nathan Fair of Austintown, Doris Fair of Austintown, and Salli (Steven) Bydo of Youngstown; 12 grandchildren; his sister, Monica Reagan, and his niece, Paula Lee.

John was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Esther Antonoff and Cherrie Crozier and his nephew, Joseph Healey.

The Fair family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. Calling hours will be Friday, January 3, 2025 from 4-6pm at the funeral home followed by a funeral service at 6pm.
