Julene A. Kollar, 80

YOUNGSTOWN… Private Funeral Services were held Friday May 17, 2024 with the Very Rev. Michael Swierz, officiating in the Chapel at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield for Julene A. Kollar, age 80, who passed away on Tuesday May 14, 2024 at Hospice House in Poland.

Julene was born on May 8, 1944 in Youngstown, Ohio and was a daughter of Albert and Chloe (Smith) Riley.

She was a 1962 graduate of Ursuline High School and was a lifelong area resident.

Julene had worked as a retail clerk over the years at Jewel Mart, Hills Department Store and Ames.

She was of the Catholic Faith.

Julene took great pride in taking care of her home and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also had a great love for animals.

Her husband Ronald Kollar, whom she married May 8, 1965, passed away June 28, 2008.

Julene is survived by her loving daughters Debbie (Nick) Lopez of Coitsville and Michelle Kollar of Youngstown with whom she made her home. She also leaves her grandchildren Sabrina Kollar and Nick Lopez; as well as her brother Albert Riley and several nieces and nephews.

Julene was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother Fred Riley.

The Kollar family has entrusted Julene’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell.
