Kenneth Richard Dunn, 85

CAMPBELL… Kenneth Richard Dunn, 85 passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.

Kenneth was born May 12, 1939 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Kenneth A. and Marjorie (Hoffman) Dunn.

He was a 1957 graduate of South High School. Kenneth was a lifelong resident of the Youngstown area.

Kenneth married the love of his life, the former Nancy Schultz and shared 53 years of marriage.

He was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Christ Our Savior at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church in Struthers.

Kenneth worked in Construction over 35 years.

He was a big NASCAR fan and even attended over 40 Daytona 500 races during his annual trip to Daytona Beach, FL and enjoyed any kind of sports. Kenneth liked to take trips to the casino and have coffee with friends at the Southern Park Mall. He also coached baseball for his sons’ teams and he helped raise his grandson.

Kenneth will be deeply missed and always remembered by his wife, Nancy; his children, Nancy M. Dunn (Richard) of Streetsboro, Jonathan D. Dunn (Tanisha) of Girard, Richard M. (Matthew) Dunn of Campbell; his grandsons, Jacob Dunn and Chaise Henderson; his sister, Sandra Miklandric of Campbell. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Roland “Butch” Dunn and his brother-in-law William Miklandric.

The Dunn family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell; where they will receive family and friends on Monday December 30, 2024 from 4-6pm; followed by a funeral service at 6pm with The Very Rev. Msgr. John Zuraw, J.C.L., V.G., officiating.
