Larry A. Hall, 79
BOARDMAN…Larry A. Hall, 79 passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 8, 2026.
Larry was born January 28, 1946 in Welch, West Virginia, a son of Joe and Gretchen (Cloninger) Hall.
He was a 1963 graduate of Hubbard High School and went on to attend YSU. He was a resident of the Youngstown area for over 50 years.
Larry was a carpet installer by trade. He preferred working with his hands, and took great pride in his work, until retiring in 2019.
Larry was an avid chess player, skilled in drawing, and a passionate guitar player. He enjoyed shooting pool and crossword puzzles.
Larry will be deeply missed and always remembered by his daughter, Jody Hall and sons, Michael (Jennifer) Hall, Jordan Hall, Adam Giesey and Eric Giesey; his grandchildren, Joseph (Chelsey), Salena, and Evan Hall; Caitlynn, Michael Jr., Andrew, Jayden, Adriana, Reyna and Lucia Hall; Kryslyn Hall and Aberum Martin; three great-grandchildren; his brother, Jay Hall and sister, Karen Hall, nieces and nephews, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Brenda Drummond and Darlene Burton; and brothers, Eddie and David Hall.
The Hall family has entrusted Larry’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio. A private gathering will be held to celebrate his life.
