Linda (Kramer) Ariza

BOARDMAN - Linda M. Ariza, 55, passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2024, at her home.

Linda was born on July 23, 1969, in Youngstown, a daughter of the John G. and Margaret Gonci Kramer.

Linda graduated from Cardinal Mooney high school in 1987 and obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Toledo and her master’s degree in counseling from Youngstown State University. She worked as an LPCC at Northside Hospital in the Behavioral Health department, and the Columbiana Mental Health Clinic and Valley Counseling. She also worked for Dr. Alex Vrabel.

Linda was a kidney transplant survivor, having a kidney, donated from her brother Jack, transplanted in 2004. She enjoyed casinos and travelling, especially to Punta Cana. She also loved playing bocce at the MVR and watching General Hospital and the Game Show Network.

Linda leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband Robert, whom she married April 28, 2001; her father John; her brothers Dr. Dan (Julie) Kramer of Tampa, FL and Jack (Coleen) Kramer of Las Vegas, NV; brothers-in-law Albert (Pam) Ariza and Cesar Ariza, all of Youngstown; Tío  Guaroa and Tía Ivette Ariza; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret, her father-in-law Dr. Cesar Ariza and mother-in-law Eugenia Ariza.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, August 12, 2024, at the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home, 5925 Market St. in Boardman. An additional hour of calling will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Our Lady of Sorrows at St. Matthias Church, followed immediately by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.

The family has entrusted the care of Linda to the Kubina Yuhasz Wasko Funeral Home.
