Loretta Joyce Hornyak, 65

YOUNGSTOWN… Loretta Joyce Hornyak, 65 passed away at her home on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

Loretta was born July 14, 1960 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of John R.  and Dorothy (Harvey) Hornyak.

She was a 1978 graduate of Ursuline High School and worked as a caregiver for Omni Manor.

Loretta was of the Catholic Faith.

Loretta enjoyed reading and she especially enjoyed drawing and gardening.

Loretta will be deeply missed and always remembered by her sister, Andrea Jaeger; her brother, Christopher Hornyak; her niece and nephew, Meghan Jaeger and Cody R. Hornyak; great-niece and great-nephew, Mila Beiling and Cameron Burgess.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, John M. and Mark R. Hornyak; her sister, Virginia Hornyak and her nephew John M. Hornyak.

The Hornyak family has entrusted Loretta’s care to the Wasko Funeral home in Campbell, Ohio. No Services were held.
