HARTVILLE…Lorynne  Dragoiu, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Lorynne was born February 6, 1942 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Stephen and Anne (Matula) Remias.

She was a 1960 graduate of Chaney High School.

Lorynne married the love of her life, John “Skip” Dragoiu on December 12, 1970 and they shared 54 wonderful years together.

Lorynne was a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Youngstown and was a member of Advent Lutheran Church in Hartville.

She was a member of the Congress Lake Garden Club and she was a homemaker.

Lorynne will be deeply missed and always lovingly remembered by her husband, John (Skip) ; three sons, John Stephen Dragoiu of Akron, Glen Robert (Jessi) Dragoiu of Ravenna, and Douglas Ambrose Dragoiu of Hartville; four grandchildren, twins, Ambrose and Reagan, Brody and Vale; and her sister, Betty Ann Barnhart of Hallandale, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant son, Clint Dragoiu.

The Dragoiu family has entrusted Lorynne’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio. A Celebration of Life will be held  at a later date.
