Louise (Kootsie) Kott, 88

Campbell…Funeral Services will be held at Wasko Funeral Home for Louise A. Kott, 88 who passed away Saturday, May 4,2024.

Louise was born July 26, 1935 in Campbell, the daughter of John and Catherine (Lysikowski) Kott.

Louise was a 1953 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and also a graduate of Youngstown Comptometer School. She worked as a secretary with Standard Slag and then as a secretary to the Mayor of Campbell for 18 years.

Louise was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Joseph the Provider Church. She was also a member of the Infant Guild Society, a pierogi worker, and a member of the choir.

She leaves to cherish her memory to her nieces; Kathy and Karen, her nephews; Ray (Kim) and George (Debbie).

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Catherine Kott as well as her two sisters Jean and Irene and a niece Cheryl.

Louise also wants to thank all her care givers, Doreen McBride and all the girls who have been by her side daily. She sends great love to her dear friend Helen, who she talked to daily. She would also like to thank all those who provided their love and support throughout the years.

The Kott family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Friday, May 10, 2024 from 4-5p.m. in the funeral home followed by a funeral service at 5p.m. officiated by Fr. Michael Swierz.
