CANFIELD…Margaret A. Arvin, 92 passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Windsor House of Canfield.
Margaret was born December 29, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of John and Anna (Farkas) Gerlick.
She married George Arvin on April 21, 1956. She was originally from Campbell, Ohio but moved to Youngstown after marriage.
Margaret was a very kind soul who was always willing to help others. She was fun loving, silly, appreciative and found great joy in her grandchildren. She cherished her time taking them for walks and singing them songs when they were very young.
Margaret had been a parishioner of Infant Jesus Church and found peace in prayer.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Sueann McLemore (Rick); her granddaughters, Jessaca Brickley (Justin Duarte) and Kaitlyn Posey (Kyle); her grandson, Joshua Humphrey; her step grandson, Tyler McLemore; her great-granddaughter, Amelia Humphrey; sister-in-law, Donna; God daughter, Tara; a brother, Albert and many friends.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, George; sister, Helen and brother, John as well as 4 angel babies.
The Arvin family has entrusted Margaret’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell where a Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Friends and family will be received from 5-6:30pm followed by a Memorial Service at 6:30pm officiated by Father Michael Farynets.
