Marie Carr, 87

 CAMPBELL…Marie Carr, 87 passed away peacefully at Mercy Health-St. Elizabeth Hospital, Monday, April 14th.

 Marie was born on June 15, 1937 a daughter of Michael and Catherine (Solly) Miklus.

 She was a lifelong resident of Campbell and a proud graduate of Campbell Memorial’s class of 1955. 

Marie married Charles Carr in 1957 and celebrated 50 years of marriage before he passed away in 2007.

 She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to caring for her family.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and hosting holiday dinners.  She loved watching Cleveland Guardian baseball and never missed a game of Bingo at Shepherd of the Valley.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons; Charles of Campbell, Robert (Shannon) of Austintown, Ronald (Carol) of Boardman and a daughter Cynthia Carr (Marty) of Boardman.  She will be missed by her three grandchildren Sheila Carr, Christopher Cochran, and Jennifer Moody along with 5 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Michael and Robert and sisters, Rita Scott, Jane Bohazi and Dolores Miklus. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Shepherd of the Valley Boardman for the love and care they gave Marie during her time with them.  She would light up when various staff members would come into her room, it was great comfort to the family to see how happy she was.

 The Carr family has entrusted Marie’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio . A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
