Mark Richard Julian, 63

YOUNGSTOWN…Mark Richard Julian, 63 passed away at his home on Thursday, July 24, 2025.

Mark was born April 1, 1962, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Carmen and Loretta (Yurkovich) Julian.

Mark graduated from Ursuline High School in 1980, after graduation he moved to Florida where he resided in Ft. Lauderdale with his partner and husband Jeffrey Kelso of 31 years. He then earned his bachelor’s degree in health care administration and his master’s degree in health care administration from Broward Community College in Florida.

Mark worked as a Provider Relations Representative for United Health Care and Centene until his retirement.

Mark will be deeply missed and always remembered by his husband, Jeffrey whom he met in 1995 and married on February 2, 2015; his mother, Loretta; his sister, Missy (John Pakalnis) Marrie; his Goddaughter and niece, Bella Marrie as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mark had a great sense of humor and had an infectious laugh. Mark loved Idora Park, where he was employed and operated the Yoyo as a teenager. He enjoyed going to Mill Creek Park and loved the beach, cars, music, and cooking for his family and friends. Recently, they moved back to his hometown to care for his mother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carmen Julian; his maternal grandparents, John and Anna Yurkovich; his paternal grandparents, Michael and Carmel Julian and his cousin Amanda.

His husband and the Julian Family have entrusted Mark’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio. No Services will be held.

A celebration of life will be held in the fall, his favorite time of year.
