Struthers…Mary Jane Puskas, 92 passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Maplecrest Nursing home in Struthers.

Mary Jane was born March 27, 1932 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of George and Mary (Simko) Rusnak.

She was married to Robert Puskas until his passing on May 6, 2014.

Mary Jane was a homemaker.

She belonged to many church groups over the years. Mary Jane was a choir member and belonged to The Sisterhood and The Federated Russian Orthodox Club. Her faith, her children and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very important to her.

Mary Jane will be deeply missed and always remembered by her daughter, Faith (Robert) Zuzek of Indiana, Pa; her grandchildren, Emma and Miranda Zuzek, Christina (Benjamin) Little, Ethan, Elijah and Erik Puskas, Hope and Eva Puskas, Rick, Jenna and Matthew Newell, and Michele Chancy; great-grandchildren, Courtney, Joey, Taylor, Devan, D.J., Maddy, Talitha, Silas and Naomi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sons Michael and Gregory and her daughter Bobbi Diane Newell.

The Puskas family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends and family Friday, September 20, 2024 from 9:30-10:30 am at St. John Orthodox Church in Campbell followed by a funeral service at 10:30am officiated by Father John Steffaro.
