Michael R. Tofil, 73
CAMPBELL…Michael passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
He was born June 3, 1952 in Youngstown, the son of John and Anna (Pochaka ) Tofil and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a 1970 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and served in the U.S. Army. He retired after 35 years of service from the Campbell Post Office, where he worked as a mail carrier.
Michael was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Church, The Holy Name Society, The Polish National Alliance and The Campbell Gridiron Club.
He enjoyed going on casino trips, especially to Las Vegas, with his wife Susan of 45 years, whom he married June 21, 1980. Michael also enjoyed sports, especially watching the Cleveland Browns and the New York Yankees. He loved going shopping, especially at Walmart.
Michael was a kind hearted and generous man, who tried to help everyone he met in some way. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Susan and his son, Michael both of Campbell; his daughter Lisa (Thaddeus) Smith of Poland and his brother-in-law, Dominick (Maryln) Daltorio of New Middletown.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Francis Tofil; brothers, John and Joseph Tofil and in-laws, Patsy and Lina Daltorio.
The Tofil family has entrusted Michael’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio. Private services were held.
