CAMPBELL… Olga M. (Fiorini) Ortenzio,102 passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 30, 2025.
Olga was born June 15, 1923 in Campbell, Ohio, a daughter of Alfonso and Adelina (Dellumo) Fiorini.
Olga was a 1941 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and was a lifelong resident of the Campbell area.
Olga married the love of her life Joseph Ortenzio on May 10, 1941 at Sacred Heart Church in Chester, West Virginia and they shared 53 years of marriage until his passing on December 28, 1994.
She was a homemaker and had previously worked at A&P and Kroger in the office.
Olga was a parishioner of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish and previously a parishioner of St. Lucy’s and St. Stephen of Hungary.
She was a member of the retail clerk union and organized the Campbell Memorial Class of 1941 lunches.
Olga was an excellent cook, especially her Italian dishes. She enjoyed traveling, especially with her husband to Italy, England, Australia and Japan. She enjoyed gardening, exercising and yard work, even cutting grass well into her 80’s. In 1991 for Olga and Joseph’s 50th wedding anniversary they went on a family cruise in the Caribbean.
Olga will be deeply missed and always remembered by her children, Dr. Joseph (Nancy) Ortenzio of New Middletown and Rosemarie (Cyril) Cmil of Campbell; her grandchildren, whom she helped raise, Melissa Rhamy-Ortenzio of Austintown, Jason Rhamy of Hampton, Virginia, Christopher Rhamy of Campbell, Dr. Rebecca (David) Ortenzio-Lee of Vienna, Virginia, Captain Aaron (Tamu) Ortenzio of Pimbrooke Pines, Florida; great-grandchildren, Corena Rhamy, Peyton and Dominic Lee, Serafina Ortenzio; her brother, Alfonso Fiorini of Queensbury, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph; her brothers, Henry, Stanley and Dr. Richard Fiorini.
The Ortenzio family has entrusted Olga’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio. A private family service was held.
Olga was laid to rest at Lake Park Cemetery.
