Patricia (Stellmar) Lavernuick, 75

Campbell…Patricia (Stellmar) Lavernuick, 75, of Campbell, Ohio passed away in her home on May 30, 2024.  Patty was born on May 11, 1949 to Alex and Stefania Stellmar.  

Patty met the love of her life, James (Hoppy) during high school.  On October 24, 1970 they were wed and raised their three beloved sons, Jason, Mark, and Jesse.  Patty’s love for these four men was immeasurable, nothing brought her more joy than having her house full of family and friends but especially being surrounded by her nine grandchildren. Patty loved to feed any and all who came by, she loved to bake, was an avid reader and was always up for a trip to the casino or a cruise vacation.

She was a 1967 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. Following graduation, Patty worked as a Radiation Technologist at St. Elizabeth Hospital for over 20 years where she made countless friends while helping so many people.

Patty was an active member of the former St. Joseph the Provider church in Campbell and a member of St. Patrick’s church in Hubbard.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers James and Frank Stellmar.  Patty is survived by her husband Hoppy, sons Jason (Danelle), Mark (Chelsea) and Jesse (Caroline), her sisters Betty and Marge, sister-in-law Dottie, her grandchildren Liliana, Lucy, Alex, Vivian, Henry, Anna, Olivia, Nathan and James, and many nieces, nephews and so many dear friends.

The Lavernuick Family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. officiated by Father Michael Swierz.

A luncheon will follow at Elmtree catering hall on Walton Street in Struthers.  All are encouraged to attend.
