CAMPBELL…Peter P. Stamos, 77, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Peter was born April 11, 1947 Holy Friday in Kalymnos Greece, a son of Periclis and Niki (Maillis) Stamos.

He came from Greece to America in 1956. Peter was a 1966 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.

He was a member of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church.

Peter was an Industrial Painter by trade serving as a foreman until his retirement working for multiple companies over the years.

Peter loved fishing, gardening and the ocean. Watching National Geographic was his favorite. He is well known for painting Holy Icons as a child.

Peter will be deeply missed and always remembered by his loving and devoted wife of 42 years, Mara who has tirelessly taken care of him for the past several years of his struggle; his children, Daughter; Dr. Niki Stamos (Dennis)Kotevski of Toledo, Ohio; Son; Dr. Steve (Dr. Stephanie) Stamos of Chardon, Ohio;Son; Patrick Stamos of Youngstown and Daughter; Irene (Mike) Wacht of Campbell,Ohio; his 10 grandchildren, Izabella, Luka, Sia, Stelio, Skevo, Peter, Jayden, Jaclyn, John and Eleni; his sisters, Kathy Radack, Athena Tiliakos and Irene Pantelakis; his sister-in-law, Rosemary Stamos of Tarpon Springs, FL; his many nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Mary(George) Kapsulis, Steve (Diane) Stamos, and Louie Stamos; his brothers-in-law, John Radack, Drossos Tiliakos, and Nick Pantelakis.

The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Frangopolous for his constant support, kindness and care of Peter over the past four decades. Thank you to Dr. Chaine, Dr. Boulos and Dr. Malmer for Peter’s care as well. Your kindness was greatly appreciated.

The Stamos family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025from 10-11am at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church in Campbell, followed by a funeral service at 11am officiated by Father Steve Denas.
