YOUNGSTOWN…Raymond Keith Butler Jr., 28 was born to Raymond Keith Butler Sr. and Elena Solis on August 29, 1996. He departed this earthly life unexpectedly on Sunday, June 8, 2025.

Raymond was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School. He worked in housekeeping at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. Raymond had a bright, infectious smile that lit up any room. He loved music, dancing and eating, especially wings, rice and beans. Raymond was also a proud, devoted father. Raymond also truly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Raymond will be deeply missed and always remembered by his children, his son Loyal Butler, and daughter on the way, Nay’Lani Butler; his mother, Elena Solis of Youngstown, Ohio; his father, Raymond K. (Kim) Butler Sr. of Warren, Ohio; his sisters, Braeden Morris and Breasia Butler; his brother Brenden Butler all of Warren, Ohio; his maternal grandmother, Margarita Cuevas; his maternal grandfather, Angelo Solis; his paternal step-grandmother JoAnn Morris. Raymond also leaves to cherish his memory his special cousins Gabriel Smith and Kristopher Walker. Raymond also leaves a host of aunts, uncles and cousins whom he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Tom Butler and Angeline Tinsley.

 The Butler/Solis family has entrusted Raymond’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home; 216 Coitsville Rd., Campbell, Ohio 44405. Calling hours will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 from 5-7pm and again from 10-10:45am on Saturday, June 21, 2025 followed by a funeral service at 11am officiated by Rev. Toby Walker.

Raymond will be laid to rest at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown, Ohio.
