Robert A. Shellito, 86

HUBBARD… Robert A. Shellito, 86 passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025 at Liberty Health Care/Windsor House in Youngstown, Ohio.

Robert was born July 30, 1939 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of Howard and Elizabeth (Delliquadri) Shellito.

Robert was a 1958 graduate of Wilson High School and went on to Kent State University where he graduated with a Masters Degree in Special Education in 1986.

He taught printing at Mahoning Count Joint Vocational School (MCJVS) for 16 years and then went on to teach special education at Campbell until retiring in 2007.

Robert was a member of the Free Masons-Poland Lodge. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed deer and water fowl hunting. Robert was a family man and he enjoyed time spent with his family.

Robert will be deeply missed and always remembered by his wife, the former Sandra L. Delplato, whom he married in 1959; his son Robert J. Shellito of Hubbard; daughter-in-law, Wendy-Watson Shellito of Hubbard; his grandchildren Lauren and Scott Shellito of Hubbard.

He was preceded in death by his parents and infant son, David Allan Shellito.

The Shellito family has entrusted Robert’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell, Ohio. No services will be held.
