Ronald E. McKee, 69

CAMPBELL… Ronald E. McKee, 69, passed away on Friday July 7, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown. Ron was born on April 12, 1954 in Youngstown, Ohio and was a son of William H. and Hazel Elizabeth (Singer) McKee.

He was a 1972 graduate of Hubbard High School and immediately enlisted into the United States Army serving as a Medic in Vietnam. Following his military service Ron was employed as a surgical tech at Warren General Hospital. He retired in 2010 as an apartment manager.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, gambling, playing games with family and friends; watching the Cleveland Browns and just sitting on the porch at his dream home in the country that he built with the love of his life.

Ron is survived by his wife the former Marylou Seydlorsky.  After being together for 30 years, they married on June 11, 2022.  He also leaves his daughter Lauren McKee of Brookfield, OH., his son Kenneth McKee of Inver Grove Heights, MN., many brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. He also leaves his lifelong friends Jack and Mary Washington of Hubbard, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Carol Thomas and Virginia Thomas, his brothers Dennis Klingensmith, James Klingensmith and Billy McKee and his niece Jessica Klingensmith.

In honoring Ron’s wishes he will be cremated and there will be a celebration of his life for family and friends on Saturday July 29, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at his residence.

The McKee family has entrusted Ron’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell.
