Ronald Bruce Moore, 81
Mercer…The servant of God, Ronald Bruce Moore, peacefully fell asleep in the Lord on Friday, June 14th 2024 at his home in the presence of his family after a year long battle with cancer. Ronald, a resident of Mercer, PA was 81 years old.
Ronald was born on February 9th, 1943 in Camden, NJ and, so, was known as “Jersey” among his friends. Music surrounded him his entire life as a passionate and accomplished pianist. He published his own record while still in High School under the Madison record label. He recorded in the same studios as greats such as Chubby Checker, and performed for DeeDee Sharp’s sweet 16th birthday party. Ronald graduated from Merchantville High School in Merchantville, NJ in 1961, and completed his BS in Education from Youngstown State University. His career spanned from education, to several entrepreneurial efforts, having leveraged his education to found the Moore’s Nursery School in Cherry Hill, NJ. In his later career he became a radio and television voice talent. He was an accomplished pianist and a passionate Pickleball player. Ronald loved nothing more than bringing joy to those around him through music and a ready, easy laugh and smile.
He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and was equally comfortable entertaining people at the drop of a hat, or sitting quietly by the fire and watching the sun set over the lake he loved so much.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents Edward Smith Moore and Elsie Young Moore.
He is survived by his wife, Claudia Graban Moore and his children Sharna Moore Rozanovich (spouse George Rozanovich) and Collin Gregory Moore (spouse Kristen Lynn Moore) and his 6 grandchildren, Alec, Abigail, Alexandra, Emma, Elijah and Rebecca.
The Moore Family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Wasko Funeral Home. The viewing will be held at St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Christian church (301 Struthers-Liberty Rd, Campbell, OH) on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 10 A.M. The funeral will be held immediately following at 11 A.M, with the internment and repast meal held in succession.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be given to St. John the Baptist Orthodox Christian church, specify “ Unneeded Gifts” Fund (for serving the needs of the community), in Campbell, Ohio.
