Sandra (Sandi) L. DeLuca, 73

Boardman… Sandra DeLuca, 73 passed away peacefully Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Hospice House.

Sandi was born July 4, 1950 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of Joseph and Pauline Guy Vizi.

She was a 1968 graduate of East High School. She was a lifelong resident of the Youngstown area, spending nearly 30 years in Campbell.

Sandra worked as an office manager for Industrial Packing in Lisbon until retiring in 2015.

She was of Lutheran faith.

Sandi was on the East High School Reunion Committee. She enjoyed traveling the country, especially to Las Vegas to spend time with her beloved grandsons.  She was an avid Rod Stewart fan and loved her Cleveland Guardians, she rarely missed a game. Sandi valued her time with friends, her children and six grandchildren who were her pride and joy.

She will be deeply missed and always remembered by her children, Kelli (Mark) Welton of Boardman, and Robert (Rebecca) DeLuca II of Las Vegas; her grandchildren, Michael, Kayla, Matthew (Candice), and Maxwell Welton, Robert DeLuca III and Ryan DeLuca; her brother Fred Vizi; and her sister Patricia McIntyre; and many nieces and nephews.

Sandi is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Elaine Hellman and brothers James and Joseph Vizi.

The DeLuca Family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends and family on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 4-6 p.m. in the funeral home followed by a Funeral Service at 6 p.m.
