Thomas Joseph Renko, 65
LOWELLVILLE…Thomas Joseph Renko (Tom), 65, of Lowellville, Ohio passed away January 24, 2025 at his home following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on October 27,1959. He was a son of Victor and Delores (Orlando) Renko and a lifelong area resident.
Tom attended Ursuline High School and was brought up in the Catholic faith. He was a truck driver for various companies over the years, worked with his brother at AAA Plumbing for many years, and was also the manager of truck oil rigs for SET Inc. for a time.
Tom was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to his friends. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting, and loved spending time outdoors. Tom was always great to be around with his quick sense of humor and witty comments. A very intelligent person, Tom was quick to solve problems and had a gifted mechanical mind. He loved just being home with his dog and knew how to enjoy the simple things in life.
Tom will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He leaves behind his son Matthew (Lauren) Renko of Greensburg, Pa; Matthew’s mother, Ruth Renko, and his grandchildren, Isabella and Jude Renko. He is survived by his longtime partner, Taressa Trolio.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Delores (Orlando) Renko, and leaves behind his brothers, Jack (Kathryn) Renko of Boardman and Victor Renko (Lisa Kupec) of Canfield, and his sisters, Jacquelyn Renko of Youngstown and LouAnn Renko of Canfield. Tom also leaves behind Taressa’s children, Daniel, Jon, and Nicole Cappelli. In addition, Tom leaves behind nieces, nephews and their children.
The Renko family has entrusted Tom’s care to the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell. In keeping with his wishes, no calling hours will be held. Tom’s ashes will be blessed and placed alongside his mother and father in the mausoleum at St. John’s cemetery following a private family service.
