Victoriano Rivera, 90
CAMPBELL…Victoriano Rivera, 90 passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family
on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
Victoriano was born March 30, 1934 in Lares, Puerto Rico, a son of Manuel Rivera and Maria Molina.
Victor left Puerto Rico in 1955 moving to Ashtabula, Ohio where he worked on a farm. Soon he relocated to Youngstown, Ohio where he worked as a Crane Operator at Columbia Iron until his retirement.
Victor was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the best life he could as family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was passionate about gardening and fishing. His garden was always a topic of conversation as he could grow anything and an abundance of it and shared it with all of us. And let’s not forget how he loved playing a good game of dominoes. Yes, you could try and beat him, but good luck. When he wasn’t caught up in his hobbies, he loved hanging out with his friends and especially loved taking vacations with his family, creating lasting memories that will forever be imprinted in our hearts.
He will be deeply missed and always remembered by his son, Victor Jr. (Rosemary) of Berea; daughters Bernice Garcia of Campbell and Wendy Rivera-Rodriguez (Miguel) of Youngstown;
grandchildren: Raquel Beebe (Jory), Tatyana Agosto (Eric), Edward Garcia Jr., Tijanie Bourne (Antonio), Nazely Victoria Rodriguez; great grandchildren: Ayva Beebe ,Josiah Agosto, Elijah Agosto, Jeremiah Bourne, Arianna Rose Bourne; siblings: Juan Rivera, Enelida Vigo and Maria R. Rivera.
He was preceded in death by his parents and many siblings.
The Rivera family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home in Campbell where a private service was held to honor Victor’s remarkable journey and celebrate the love he shared.
He has now transitioned and graduated from this life into the next and is currently occupied tending to the Garden of Eden alongside of Yeshua.
