William E. "Bill" Walter

William E. “Bill” Walter, 44 

Campbell… William E. “Bill” Walter, 44, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024. 

Bill was born November 25, 1979, in Youngstown, the son of Fitch Edward Walter II and Vicki Paris. 

He was a 1999 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and went on to graduate from the Niles Police Academy.  He was a lifelong area resident. 

Bill worked at Campbell Hardware, the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office, and most recently Astro Shapes. 

He was a former parishioner of St. Joseph the Provider Church in Campbell. 

Bill enjoyed old cars and loved watching football and the Cleveland Browns.  

Bill will be deeply missed and always remembered by his children, Korrina Walter, her mom Shawanisha and Isaiah O’Malley; mother Vicki Walter; brothers, Ryan J. (Jeannie) Walter, his sons K’ and King; and Fitch E. Walter III; his sisters Cis  (Jason) and boys Landon and Bryson; Kassondra (Fruto) their children, Elysia and Fruto Jr.; his grandmother Dorothy Walter; his aunt, Linda (Jeff) Walter-Wright and many cousins.  

He was preceded in death by his father Ed Walter, his grandfather Bill Walter; and his Aunt and Uncle, Ruth and Chester Sierzega. 

The Walter family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Sunday, January 28, 2024, from 1-3:00 pm at the Wasko Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00 pm. 

Bill will be laid to rest at Jackson Cemetery.
