Anna Harvischak

Youngstown…Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, with Father Andrew Nelko officiating, for Anna Harvischak, 94, formerly of Campbell, who passed away Tuesday evening at Park Vista Nursing Home.
Anna was born July 26, 1918, in Porce, Slovakia, the daughter of Andrew and Katherine Bakos Harvischak. She moved to the Campbell area in 1926.
She attended Campbell Schools and was employed later in her life at General Extrusions on the Assembly line where she retired after many years of service.
Anna was a member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Campbell and the Ladies’ Altar Society.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her three sisters, Mary Murcko of Hermitage, Pa., Pauline (Frank) Fesz of Campbell and Helen Colaluca of Poland; a brother, Tom (Sonja) Harvischak of Campbell; and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Katherine Harvischak; and her sister, Catherine Harvischak.
The Harvischak family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Thursday from 4-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and again Friday morning from 10-11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church.
